The property was excellent. One of the best ones we have stayed at. Very beautifully maintained, lovely Greek decor. Mila, the hosted was very helpful. She even provided complimentary fruits and wine in addition to the tea and coffee. Cannot recommend more. We willdefinitely stay with them again.
The location was good with bars, restaurants and a well stocked supermarket close by. The property was spotless and we had fabulous nights of sleep.
Amazing welcome! Wonderful lady. Thank you so much for looking after us.
Mila and her family were so lovely and welcoming and the apartment felt like a home away from home. The location is outside of the busy more tourist destinations which I thoroughly enjoyed as were able to fully relax. I would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again!
Mila is so lovely and welcoming, so much so that it was my second time visiting. The villa is beautiful and spacious but my favourite is sitting in the courtyard in the evening surrounded by cats. It is so calm and peaceful. Feels like a taste of paradise. I also loved the surrounding area of Emporio and getting to know the place and the people. Great location to explore Fira and the nearby beaches, transport very accessible.
Excellent warm welcome of our host who made all efforts to have the check-in a couple of hours before time. The vila is beautifully decorated with a very smart attention to both aestetics and practical apects. You have everytbing inside. Including a fully equiped kitchen. Unfortunatelly we remained for 3 nights only. The whole yard is very well looked after and gives you a very good feeling of well beeing and comfort.Very quite though very close to the center of Emporium village.
The villa was beautiful. Great air con and facilities including the Jacuzzi! The host mila was extremely friendly and attentive helping with taxis, car rentals and local knowledge. The property is a 2 minute walk to a bus stop which connects to other areas within the island. Also great shops and eateries very close too!
We loved everything. It was so nice to find somewhere traditional on an island that has become so touristy. You can tell that a lot of love has been put into creating these apartments and it was by far one of our favourite stays in Greece. It is also extremely photogenic and we loved creating some content during our stay here. Our host was also extremely friendly and welcoming - she left us some wine as a welcome gift and even allowed us to check out a bit later than expected. We felt so at home here and would return in a heartbeat!
Everything was great! Our accommodation, the flat in the middle, was perfect for the family of three. Kokos traditional houses are three flats with the entrances quite close to one other so you can say hello to your neighbours if you meet them and forget them for the rest of the day:) It is private. There was air conditioning in the bedroom (not in the kitchen) but it was enough for our stay in June/July.The kitchen was very well equipped. We even had a sandwich maker, perfect if you want to warm up pita bread. The bathroom was spacious. And charming! There was a huge built-in bathtub. We didn’t use the jacuzzi function as you would probably need to fill the tub to the top and it doesn't feel right on an island where water is so scarce. The house is situated next to castelli of Emporio (a collection of small houses and narrow passages) so make sure you have your camera ready!Close to the supermarket, the bus stop and the main square. If you want to book a volcano trip the pickup point is also nearby.Mila, the owner, vas always extremely helpful and she even picked us up from the village when we couldn’t find her house on our arrival. Google maps seem to be useless in the labyrinth of streets and secret pathways in Emporio...
Lovely traditional houses with beautiful curved ceilings set in an idyllic courtyard with a lovely view over Emporio. Mila (the host) is friendly and helpful. The property is right on the edge of the old town, easy walking distance from the supermarket.
